Weekender Surf camps

Come chill with us in Agnes Water for a weekend! Learn to surf, advance your skills and explore the area with a local surf coach and guide. Discover pristine beaches, uncrowded waves, and lifelong friends. 

These camps are perfect for beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers and are designed to develop ocean awareness and confidence and improve surfing ability quickly with qualified coaches.  

SCHEDULE

Friday P.M: check in to 1770 Southern Cross followed by welcome BBQ at the Lazy Lizard Surf House. 

Saturday A.M: morning surf 

Saturday P.M: Red Rock Trail bush walk 

Saturday dinner: fish and chips at the Marina- the best sunset spot in the area! (vegetarian options are available) 

Sunday A.M: morning surf and check out of accommodation. 

PRICE INCLUDES: 

~Welcome BBQ at the Lazy Lizard Surf House on your first night in Agnes Water 

~2 x nights shared dorm accommodation (private rooms are available for an extra cost) 

~2 x 2 hour surf lessons 

~ unlimited board hire for your stay 

~1 x guided coastal bush walk 

Please note: Surf campers will be responsible for their own food and snacks (apart from the first night). It is highly recommended to have your own transport (carpooling can be arranged with fellow campers once here) however there are shuttle bus options available.

Agnes water is located a 6 hour drive north of Brisbane and 1.5 hour drive from Bundaberg or Gladstone. This location is in the optimal spot to learn to surf and continue to develop skills with pristine beaches, awesome hikes, abundant wildlife and a great community.
